Mr. Wright has been the CEO of Lightstream since inception in November 2009 and assumed the president role in 2011. Previously, Mr. Wright was the President and CEO of Petrobank Resources; the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacalta Resources; Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Hydrocarbons; and Vice President Production of Morgan Hydrocarbons. Mr. Wright began his full time career in the oil industry after he graduated from the University of Alberta in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. Mr. Wright is a Professional Engineer and also a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
Mr. LaPrade has served as Lightstream's Senior Vice President Operations since the company’s inception after serving in the same role at Petrobank since April 2008. Previously, Mr. LaPrade was President and Chief Executive Officer of Mirage Energy Ltd. from October 2006 to February 2008; Prior thereto, Vice President Operations of Petrobank Energy and Resources Ltd. from July 2002 until September 2006; Prior thereto, Manager Operations of Barrington Petroleum Ltd. from May 2001 until September 2001; Prior thereto, Vice President Operations of Petrorep Energy Resources Ltd. from June 1991 to May 2000. Mr. LaPrade is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas business.
Mr. Scott joined the Lightstream team in January 2010. Before joining Lightstream, Mr. Scott was the VP Finance and CFO at Iteration Energy. Prior thereto Mr. Scott was a founding member of the executive team at Rock Energy Inc. as Vice President Finance and CFO, during which time Rock grew from 150 boe/day to 4,000 boe/day. Before working at Rock Energy, Peter spent three years as Executive Vice President, CFO and Director of Absolute Software Corporation (a public software development company) in Vancouver, B.C. Prior to working at Absolute, Peter spent 16 years in the oil and gas industry in Calgary holding the positions of Vice President and CFO at Beau Canada Exploration Ltd., and Treasurer, Finance Manager and Financial Analyst at Crestar Energy Inc. He started his career with Amoco Canada Petroleum Company Ltd. in 1983.
Ms. Belecki joined Lightstream as General Counsel in 2014. Before joining Lightstream, Ms. Belecki was Associate General Counsel at TransCanada Corporation and also served as Corporate Secretary to its U.S. Master Limited Partnership, TC PipeLines, LP. Prior thereto, Ms. Belecki was a partner at a large national law firm practicing in the business law group with a focus on corporate finance, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and securities. Ms. Belecki is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, Canadian Bar Association and Calgary Bar Association. Ms. Belecki received her LLB from University of British Columbia and her Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1999.
Ms. Bulmer has been Vice President, Corporate Services of Lightstream Resources since May 2010. Prior to that she was employed as VP HR & Corporate Services at OPTI Canada Inc. Ms. Bulmer has worked in Human Resources in the energy sector for over 20 years for organizations including Amoco Canada, Koch Oil, and Hunt Oil Company of Canada Inc. Ms. Bulmer has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario and a M.Sc. from the University of Calgary.
Lawrence Fisher was promoted to Vice President, Land in May 2010 from his previous role as Manager, Land Negotiations at Lightstream Resources and one of its predecessor companies, TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. Prior to joining TriStar in March 2008, Mr. Fisher was the Vice President, Land with Flagship Energy Inc. from August 2005 to March 2008, and he was the Land Manager at Rock Energy Inc. from October 2003 to August 2005. From 1991 to 2003, Mr. Fisher worked as a landman in various land negotiations, acquisitions & divestitures, and contracts roles with Vintage Petroleum Canada, Inc., Devon Canada Corporation, Anderson Exploration Ltd., Quintana Minerals Canada Corp., and Norcen Energy Resources Limited.
Throughout his career, Mr. Fisher has been a very active member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen, including being an elected Director of CAPL from 2000 to 2002, and involved as a member of the development committee for the 2007 CAPL Operating Procedure. Since 2000, Mr. Fisher has been a sessional instructor in the Petroleum Land Management program at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and is proud to have taught over 300 land management students to date. Mr. Fisher graduated in 1990 from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He obtained a Canadian Institute of Management designation in 2003.
Mr. Hawkes assumed the position of Vice President, Exploration of Lightstream Resources upon the company's inception in August 2009 after serving in the same role with Petrobank’s Canadian Business Unit. He joined Petrobank in November 2005 as Senior Geologist and was promoted to Exploration Manager in July 2007. Mr. Hawkes has over 25 years of technical experience in Canada and the US. Prior to Petrobank Mr. Hawkes worked at Southpoint Resources, Hunt Oil of Canada, Conoco Canada, Norcen Energy and entered the industry with Citadel Resources. Mr. Hawkes graduated in 1982 from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology.
Mr. Brad Malley is Vice President, Development Services at Lightstream Resources and is responsible for Drilling and Completions, Facilities, Procurement, Joint Venture and Surface Land. He has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including prior leadership roles in Health and Safety, Drilling, and Completions, Well Asset Management and Facilities Engineering both in Canada and the USA. Brad is currently an active member of Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists (ASET) and has a P.Tech. (Eng.) designation.
Ms. Scheidt has been the Corporate Controller of Lightstream since the company’s inception in August 2009, after serving as Petrobank’s Controller since December 2001. Ms. Scheidt has over 30 years of industry experience in a variety of management roles including financial accounting, operations accounting, oil & gas receiverships, and oil & gas accounting systems implementation. Ms. Scheidt was an instructor for CAPPA(Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accountants) from 1990 to 1994. Prior to joining Petrobank, Ms. Scheidt was the Manager, Operations Accounting with Devon Canada from 1994 to 2001. Ms. Scheidt obtained her Certified Management Accountant designation in 1980.
